You’ve heard me right. In addition to chamomile to calming an upset stomach, calming migraines, calming the redness on your skin (even for babies!), it has amazing benefits to thicken your hair. Who knew?! Quite honestly, this doesn’t apply to me, as I have really thick hair, enough for the bald heads, as my many hair stylists have told me since i can remember. Not too brag. So, I had turned to a friend who has thin hair to try this out.

Since thick hair derives from healthy hair (how to obtain and main it, click on the link for my tips :)). All you have to do is drink a cup of chamomile tea.

DIY Reduce Cellulite with Coffee Grinds!

Image result for coffee grinds

#Cellulite! What a pain to have. Am I right?! Cellulite is normally found on the fattiest parts of the body, so this would usually be the upper thighs and the bum. Six months after I had turned thirty I got my first sighting of cellulite on my butt. How dare they pop up! Lol. #WelcomeToTheThirties !!! No, I’m not going to show you my cellulite, because of where it is. I have learned the best way to reduce it is by using a harsh #exfoliator. #CoffeeGrinds. To get the best results, so the grinds are being used efficiently, I prefer to use them after I have brewed a cup of #coffee (except I seldom drink it). I’ll brew it, just for the sake of using coffee grinds to reduce my cellulite.

This is what I do to reduce the cellulite.

I take the already used coffee grinds put them into a bowl or jar. When showering right before I use body wash, I will use the grinds right where I have the cellulite. Massage it. Remove it with warm water and a wash cloth. I then use my body wash. After I shower, I use body lotion.

If you want something quick and simple. Wet the area that has cellulite with warm water with a wash cloth. Apply the coffee grinds. Massage it with your hands. Remove it with warm water. Apply body lotion. And, viola! You are fini (finished).

Since I don’t have stretch marks, I had a couple of good friends of mine who have tested out the coffee grinds on their stretch marks, and they have said that it also helps to reduce stretch marks.

DIY Face Mask: Banana & Honey

I had decided to try this what was supposed to be a one ingredient face mask, but eventually turned into a two ingredient face mask; banana and honey. Now, if you plan on storing this face mask in the fridge to use for later in the week, use a whole banana. It makes a large batch. If that’s the case, and you want to opt for honey – apply two or three squirts. I used two generous amounts for one whole banana.

Bananas contain vitamins A,B,C, E, iron, zinc and loads of potassium. Bananas are excellent to reduce inflammatory skin (redness, including rosacea), acne/blemishes, dehydration, sensitive, anti-aging, so it reduces fine lines and wrinkles, thanks to it’s hydrating factor. Bananas are equivalent to the results you receive from botox. The difference is that one of them; you are injecting a needle and the other treatment you are applying a mask onto your face, or eating a banana, or both. 🙂

I love honey in masks, even on it’s own. Honey adds additional hydration for those who have very dehydrated in Winter. My skin is dehydrated all year round, but in the Winter, forget it, talk about loss of hydrated.

Ingredients:

1/3 or 1/4 banana

Fork (I replaced the wisk with a fork)

Honey (optional) – about 1 squirt

Directions:

In a bowl mash the banana to your level of smoothness. Add a honey, if you like. Mix it well. After your skin has been cleansed, with your favourite cleanser, apply this mixture. Leave it on for fifteen minutes. Afterwards, remove it with a warm wash cloth. Finish it with your moisturizer.

Reduce Puffy Eyes & Dark Circles with Green Tea Bags

When I want to remove puffy eyes, and even dark circles, I use green tea bags, as opposed to regular tea bags to place over my eyes. Green tea contain antioxidents, plus Vitamin C. So, it keeps your eyes looking young. Perfect bonus. This is my trick when sleep just isn’t doing it, as in loss of sleep.

I may brew the tea bags, or leave them dry and place them right over my eyes. It really does remove the puffiness and dark circles. Now, I must say, if eye puffiness is hereditary, I’m sorry to give bad news, but no matter the cream or treatment you do, the puffiness will not ever lift. If it isn’t hereditary, you have hope in saying good-bye this issue.

So, all I do is remove two green tea bags, lie down and place them over my eyes for about ten minutes to fifteen minutes. And, remove. It really depends on the level of darkness and puffiness. To be honest, at thirty, I don’t get a sevre amount of either … at least not yet.

You can also brew two tea bags, place them in the fridge to cool them down, then place these two tea bags over your eyes for about ten minutes to fifteen minutes. Then discard.
