Awards season is here! I absolutely loved watching the red-carpet at the Golden Globes this past Sunday. I love how body hugging is out, and A-Line skirts are in. So flattering for any body shape really, more specifically hour-glass and pear shape figures. Below, is whom I feel won me over with their best dressed.

Kerry Washington doesn’t do wrong with anything she wears, Emma Stone – gorgeous gown on her, so complimentry, Viola Davis – loved her speech, and her dress, Brie Larson – that red and neckline is so divine on her, Blake Lively – when doesn’t she look fan?!
Mandy Moore – all eyes were on her. How beautiful does she look? She wears it so well.
Reese Witherspoon, along with Kerry Washington and a few other other Hollywood beauties, like Jennifer Aniston, when doesn’t she look? When isn’t there a colour can’t she pull off, or neckline, or style? Clothes always look so stunning on Witherspoon.So elegant, so classy, so tasteful with the slit up the thigh.
I do have to say, Meryl Streep, you are so not over-rated. Your speech was fabulous!

When I was in make-up school, my school was in Yorkville, I would watch celebs walk the red carpet before class would begin. I was the only one standing behind the photogs watching them work the red-carpet. I got to meet a couple of them, too. So down-to-earth. I do recall I was normally at the Holt Renfrew on Bloor Street watching this. I just love TIFF. It’s one of the best film festivals there is. I’m proud, because that is my home!! Yay, Toronto! I’m feeling a bit sentimental right now, ha-ha.
