Spring has arrived, and summer is just around the corner, which means this is sandal wearing season. To get your feet in great form for the season a little TLC is in order. Give yourself a mini pedi to get your feet ready for this sandal wearing season!
Once a week, soak your feet in Epstein salt. This will relive tired and quite possible sore feet. Or, you can give yourself a bath that includes Epstein salt. Make sure the water is hot or at least warm.
If your feet are anything like mine, that means you have dry to very dry feet, so exfoliating is in order. As your feet soak in the salt, use a foot scrub (exfoliator) to scrub away any dead skin that is left on your feet. Do this method once a week. If the grinds are thin, daily. If they are thick (sugar is thick), then once to three times a week tops. I’m a huge fan of exfoliating, whether it’s my feet, my body or my face.

Before Bed:For dry feet, use a foot butter. Butter is thicker than a lotion, making butter excellent for dry skin. Once feet are dry, slather on the foot butter. Place socks onto your feet, preferably non-cotton socks, as cotton absorbs moisture, this means cotton will absorb your butter/lotion. It doesn’t mean that your feet are not receiving moisture, just not as much as your applying. With the right pair of socks, it will lock in the moisture.
Lastly, apply nail polish onto your toes to make your feet look pretty.
