We all don’t like dandruff for a few reasons. Appearance wise, the itchiness of the scalp, along with excessive formation flakes due to the dry skin that’s on the scalp. We know what dandruff looks like, but do you know what it really is? Dandruff is a scalp disorder that is referred to as seborrheic disorde. This occurs due to dry skin, irritated oily skin, growth of bacteria and fungus on the scalp. What can cause a dry scalp is either you have a dry skin/scalp or it’s due to using products on your hair. Hair products can cause your scalp to dry out. If you are using alcholic base hairspray, well, alcohol dries out the skin and scalp. Fragrance is also causes the skin and scalp to dry out. It’s important to use a repairing hair mask weekly.   1. Coconut Oil

Coconut oil eliminated dandruff, thanks to its anti-fungal properties. It also moisturizes dry skin and a dry scalp.

You can use coconut oil as a hair mask. After shampooing and conditioning your hair, so your hair must be clean, apply a quarter size amount of coconut oil all over your hair when it’s wet. Leave the formula in your hair for at least three minutes. Afterwards, remove the mask by shampooing and conditioning your hair. Repeat once or twice a week. Repeat once or twice a week until dandruff is no longer on your scalp.

  1. Apple Cider Vinegar

If you have a sensitive scalp, I advise you to dilute it with water before applying it to your scalp. It also restores the ph balance on your scalp, that restrains the growth of yeast. Apple cider vinegar acts as a hair clarifier; in addition, you can also expect this formula to clean clogged pores, as well as to help unclog the pores and hair follicles.

Baking soda is a mild exfoliant, which means it removes dead skin cells. Plus, it absorbs excess oil. Making baking soda excellent for oily scalps. Baking soda helps to balance the PH balance, which also reduces the growth of fungi.

Olive oil is known to be a natural and effective moisturizer. Therefore, it’s excellent to be used to moisturize your scalp. You can heat it up or apply it as is. With your own body heat, it will warm up the oil, just like when you apply it on your face. Massage it onto your scalp when your hair is wet and clean. Wrap your hair into a towel. This concentrates the goodness remains on the scalp. Leave it on for forty-five minutes. Wash it out. Repeat a few times a week until dandruff has been lifted.
